Consultant Engagement Specialist
The Consultant Engagement Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for consultants after placement, ensuring a positive employment experience throughout the duration of their assignment. This role focuses on consultant satisfaction, engagement, retention, issue resolution, and ongoing relationship management while partnering closely with recruiters, account managers, credentialing, payroll, and human resources teams.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison for consultants throughout their assignment lifecycle.
- Conduct regular check-ins with consultants to assess job satisfaction, address concerns, and provide support.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants to foster engagement and retention.
- Respond promptly to consultant inquiries regarding employment, payroll, benefits, assignments, and company resources.
- Develop and implement consultant engagement initiatives designed to improve retention and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify trends and recommend improvements to the consultant experience.
- Support recognition programs, milestone celebrations, and employee appreciation initiatives.
- Partner with recruiters and account managers to ensure smooth consultant onboarding and assignment transitions.
- Assist consultants with assignment-related questions and concerns.
- Facilitate communication between consultants and internal departments when issues arise.
- Investigate and assist with resolving consultant concerns related to assignments, payroll, benefits, scheduling, or workplace issues.
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate leadership, HR, or operational teams as needed.
- Document consultant interactions and resolutions in company systems.
- Maintain accurate records of consultant communications and engagement activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws.
- Assist with surveys, reporting, and consultant satisfaction metrics.
- Support offboarding processes and conduct exit interviews when applicable.
- Coordination of consultant work schedules/PTO.
Skills and Qualifications
- Associate’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in employee relations, staffing, recruiting support, customer service, account management, or human resources.
- Healthcare staffing experience preferred.
