Medovent Solutions is seeking an experienced Travel RN Case Manager for a 13-week assignment at a highly respected, nationally recognized acute care hospital in Alaska. Position Highlights

- Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, Business Hours
- Shift: 5×8 Days

Shift Start Times May Vary:
- 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend as department needs require
- On-Call: None
- Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours every two weeks
Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapy services, social work, pharmacy, and other interdisciplinary teams.
- Assess patient needs and coordinate safe, timely transitions of care.
- Float within Case Management services as needed to support department staffing.
Requirements
Required
- Active Alaska RN License (license must be in hand before submission).
- Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital Case Management experience.
- Acute care experience is required; behavioral health-only experience does not qualify.
- Ability to work Monday–Friday business hours with rotating weekends.
- First-time travelers are welcome.
Preferred
- ACM Certification.
- Epic EMR experience.
- Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams proficiency.
- BLS Certification.
Assignment Details
- Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:30
- Orientation: 24 Hours
- Float: Yes, within Case Management services
- Time Off: One pre-approved request (up to five days)
- Holiday Time Off: Not available for this assignment
